Huawei, Honor: How to show internet speed in the status bar

Four steps with SpeedLet, in your phone’s own settings, and your network speed on Wi-Fi or mobile data is always in sight.

1. Install SpeedLet

   

2. Turn on “Speed in your status bar”

   Open SpeedLet and allow notifications when it asks: the speed next to the clock is a notification.

3. Let the phone show the icon

   Settings›Notifications›More notification settings›turn on “Show notification icons”

4. Let SpeedLet run in the background

   Settings›Battery›App launch›SpeedLet: switch to “Manage manually” and allow all three options

With the screen off, SpeedLet measures nothing and never wakes the phone.
