Pixel, Motorola, Nokia, Sony: How to show internet speed in the status bar

Four steps with SpeedLet, in your phone’s own settings, and your network speed on Wi-Fi or mobile data is always in sight.

1. Install SpeedLet

   

2. Turn on “Speed in your status bar”

   Open SpeedLet and allow notifications when it asks: the speed next to the clock is a notification.

3. Let the phone show the icon

   Make sure the “Network speed” notification category is on and not minimized.

4. Let SpeedLet run in the background

   Settings›Apps›SpeedLet›Battery›Unrestricted

With the screen off, SpeedLet measures nothing and never wakes the phone.
