Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO: How to show internet speed in the status bar

Four steps with SpeedLet, in your phone’s own settings, and your network speed on Wi-Fi or mobile data is always in sight.

1. Install SpeedLet

   

2. Turn on “Speed in your status bar”

   Open SpeedLet and allow notifications when it asks: the speed next to the clock is a notification.

3. Let the phone show the icon

   Xiaomi hides notification icons by default.Settings›Notifications & status bar (or Notifications & Control center)›Status bar›turn on “Notification icons”

4. Let SpeedLet run in the background

   Settings›Apps›Manage apps›SpeedLet: turn on “Autostart” and set “Battery saver” to “No restrictions”

With the screen off, SpeedLet measures nothing and never wakes the phone.
